A bid writer/marketing assistant is required to join the Manchester city centre office of Buttress Fuller Alsop Williams architects. The role will encompass maintaining and updating marketing collateral plus our bid library and systems; working with sector teams to create winning submissions and pitches; and supporting other marketing activities as relevant.

Buttress Fuller Alsop Williams is a friendly office employing 35 staff operating from two offices in Manchester and Liverpool city centres. We work nationally on a range of projects in sectors including education, cultural and historic buildings, police and commercial work; have specialist skills in conservation that work across many sectors; and also have a successful team who deliver aquarium projects internationally. We are looking for someone to work with the marketing manager, to prepare our bids and pitches to clients in all sectors.

We are looking for a highly organised person, with excellent written and oral English and creative presentation skills. The person undertaking this role will need to manage a programme of exacting deadlines, co-ordinate design team responses, and ensure that our submissions articulate the practice’s quality of service and design culture.
